Chief: Bill Ahmad

Bill Ahmad is serving as the Chief of SBVAC for the 2025-2026 year. As Chief, Bill is responsible for overseeing all SBVAC operations and serving as SBVAC’s liaison to other EMS agencies. Bill also serves as a cleared EMT-B, field training officer, emergency vehicle operator, senior driver trainer, and instructor for our probationary class.

First Assistant Chief: Joseph Cline

Joseph Cline is serving as First Assistant Chief of SBVAC for the 2025-2026 year. Joseph is responsible for overseeing the clearance and continual training of SBVAC’s EMT-Bs. Joseph also serves as a cleared EMT-B, emergency vehicle operator, field training officer, and instructor for our probationary class.

Second Assistant Chief: Vacant

Bill Ahmad is also acting as Second Assistant Chief of SBVAC for the 2025-2026 year. As Second Assistant Chief, Bill is responsible for overseeing the clearance of SBVAC’s emergency vehicle operators and ensuring that our vehicles are properly maintained. Bill also serves as a cleared EMT-B, field training officer, emergency vehicle operator, senior driver trainer, and instructor for our probationary class.

Captain: brandon sala

Brandon Sala is serving as the Captain of SBVAC for the 2025-2026 year. As Captain, Brandon is responsible for overseeing SBVAC’s Probationary Class and the continued training of SBVAC membership. Brandon also serves as a cleared EMT-B, field training officer, emergency vehicle operator, driver trainer, and instructor for our probationary class.

LIEUTENANT: andre joubert

Andre Joubert is serving as Lieutenant of SBVAC for the 2025-2026 year. As Lieutenant, Andre is responsible for ordering and managing all SBVAC medical supplies, equipment, and uniforms. Andre also serves as emergency vehicle operator, senior driver trainer, and EMT-B.
