Thank you for your interest in joining the Stony Brook Volunteer Ambulance Corps for the spring 2026 Probationary Class!

We are a NY State certified emergency ambulance agency primarily serving Stony Brook University and its surrounding areas. We operate twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. We sincerely thank you for your interest in joining our Spring 2026 probationary class. Unfortunately, at this time, we are not moving forward with our traditional recruitment this semester. We apologize for any inconveniences this news may cause.

Please check back in late August 2026 for updates on how to join our Fall 26 Probationary Class.

After attending an Open House during the beginning of the Fall 2026 semester, applicants must complete a written application. Certifications and prior experience are not required in order to apply. Applicants must be at least 17 years old.
