Thank you for your interest in joining the Stony Brook Volunteer Ambulance Corps for the Fall 2025 Probationary Class!

We are a NY State certified emergency ambulance agency primarily serving Stony Brook University and its surrounding areas. We operate twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Individuals looking to join our Fall 2025 probationary class must attend an Open House during the first two weeks of the Fall 2025 semester. Open House dates will be posted here and on SBVAC’s Instagram account over the summer.

After attending an Open House during the Fall 2025 semester, applicants must complete a written application submitted via Google Forms. The application link will be posted below when applications open up.

Certifications and prior experience are not required in order to apply. Applicants must be at least 17 years old.
